Moonlit Residential Services, Inc. was established in 2011 by JR Gyger, PE, CPD, LEED AP. JR started in the construction business as a plumber, but later graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree both in mechanical engineering. Since then he has worked for a commercial general contractor as well as been employed by reputable building engineering design firms. JR is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Maryland, holds the title Certified in Plumbing Design awarded by the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, and holds the LEED Accredited Professional designation awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
With the knowledge from his education and years spent in engineering design firms, along with the mechanical abilities gained while working as a plumber, JR was easily able to extend his skills into other trades such as carpentry, electrical, and HVAC work.
